Wolfgang Digital have published the findings of their study in relation to Irish e-commerce websites during the second financial quarter of 2015. The study shows that Irish e-commerce is a healthy situation, showing signs of growth. Some of the key takeaway points from the study include:
- Year-on-Year traffic to Irish e-commerce sites has increased by 28%
- E-commerce spending is up 62%
- Traffic levels are growing across device types
- Mobile traffic is up 64%
- Desktop traffic is up 9%
- Tablet traffic is up 26%
- Mobile traffic share is growing, up from 29% to 37%
- Desktop traffic share is down from 54% to 46%
- Traffic share for tablets has levelled off at 17%
