Wolfgang Digital's New Office
May was a month of change in Wolfgang Digital HQ. In fact, we changed HQ. We’ve moved 500 yards down the road to Palmerston House in Denzille Lane. It’s four times the size of our previous Clanwilliam Square office, which means it is far more suitable for bombing around the shop on swivelly chairs while wearing wolf masks. It's a very bike friendly office too. If you like city views you’ll love our new gaff and we look forward to welcoming you here. I actually moved house the same weekend we moved office. I wouldn't recommend it. I lost years.
Speaking of advancing years, June will mark Wolfgang Digital’s 7th Birthday! In that time we’ve seen 6 offices, 11 Digital Marketing Trophies, 100s of dildos have passed through our hands and we've enjoyed a shipload of craic. Fingers crossed the next 7 years will be equally breathless.

It’s been an exciting month in the world of social media. This week Instagram announced that the many meticulous advertising features of Facebook will soon be made available on Instagram. We’re all rubbing our paws with glee.
In other social media news, Pinterest announced Pins would become 'shoppable' via a partnership with Limerick's most famous twosome, The Collison Brothers.

Digital Marketing Events
You might have caught Roisin and Sarah speaking about leveraging your social audiences at 3XE in Croke Park earlier in the month. If not you can see their slides here.
Last week, Sarah and Aileen spoke about Visual Content at Content Marketing Masters in Berlin. Simultaneously, Brendan and I were talking AdWords at The Swipe Summit in UCD. To avoid Twitter confusion between the two talks we used the hashtag #SHORTSTRAW in UCD.

If you are thinking of going to an overseas digital marketing conference in the second half of the year may I make a suggestion? The Marketing Festival in Brno in the Czech Republic looks like a great one.
The lineup is excellent, there is a strong focus on the social parts after the conference (which is where I often learn the most), and having met the organiser Jindrick, I can assure you this guy is passionate about putting on a tip top quality event. It’s on in November and it’s nearly sold out already. Have a gawk at the website here.

Massive congrats to John Hurley of the DAA who was part of the @endevour team that rowed from Ireland to France last week. They are the first rowers to do this, ever. Hats off to them for this huge achievement. You can see their story here and if you want to lob a few quid their way you can do that here. Heroes. We now have Dublin's best deli/pub/off licence on our doorstep. Big thanks to Paul of Probus for keeping us full off coffee while our canteen was being installed this month.
