The crew here at Wolfgang Digital love a good digital marketing get together.
There's no better way to pass the day than drinking too much coffee and engaging in overexcited conversations with fellow nerds (send us a tweet - we get so lonely!). We regularly travel to travel to London and even as far as the States for a good "nerd-up". Luckily there is no need to head to the airport this side of Xmas as we have a super exciting 8 weeks of digital marketing events ahead of us right here in Dublin's fair city!
The IIA Search Meets Social event on Thursday the 20th of September is a real coup for the IIA. Headlined by the most important voice in SEO outside of Google, Rand Fishkin of SEOMoz, this FREE event arrives at a time when the SEO world is an a state of panic due to penguins & pandas. This baby promises to be a corker. The event and takes place in the Digital Hub on Thursday the 20th of September. The event is now sold out, but don't worry, if you didn't manage to get your hands on a ticket we will be giving away 2 on Twitter in the week of the event. What can I say about the Dublin Web Summit, the spark that lit the flame that is the tech scene in Ireland, which is now the second biggest Tech event in Europe! It doesn't seem like only 3 years ago when the maiden Dublin Web Summit event took place in a small room in Trinity College with 30-40 attendees. Taking place in the RDS over the 18th & 19th October and headlined by global luminaries this is a "got to be there event". Keynotes have been delivered by Wolfgangers in the past so don't be suprised if you see one of us on stage this year too.
Irish Web Awards takes place on the 1st November in the Mansion House. This is without a doubt, the most fun night of the year in the web world. Orchestrated by Damien Mulley & his team there will be fun, frollocks and of course awards. We'll be giving out the prize for "Best Ecommerce/services website", possibly to you! Oh, and keep your eyes peeled & your twitter fingers at the ready at this event. We believe there will be a sex toy hamper given out on the night, Frisky!
