In an impressive show of the strength of the Irish digital marketing industry, Irish businesses and agencies have dominated the shortlist for the European Search Awards.
Although the Irish economy makes up a meagre 2% of the EU economy, Irish digital marketing makes up 11% of the shortlisted campaigns in the European Search Awards
The figure is made up of 30 shortlisted campaigns on behalf of 12 businesses: Elverys, DID Electrical, Littlewoods Ireland, Arctic Adventures, Lidl, The National Lottery, Aviva, Aer Lingus, Clayton Hotels, Fujitsu, Energia and Workplace by Facebook.
The agencies involved in the entries are Wolfgang Digital (14), Iprospect Ireland (11) and Core (5).
There is strong Irish interest in the headline awards. Iprospect Ireland are up for Best Large PPC Agency. Wolfgang Digital are hoping to retain their Best Large Integrated Agency title and are also shortlisted for Best Large SEO Agency and the Best PPC agency.
The awards take place on the 20th of June in Budapest.
