Are you a finalist in the the Samsung Digital Media Awards this Friday, February 21st? Are you desperate to know if you will be dancing through "The Burlo" trophy in hand, or skulking in a shady corner nursing yet another JD and Coke? Well your wait is over..... Behold the Wolfgang Digital "Number Atomiser"! Our cutting edge aparatus has collated the finalist to winner conversion rates at the Digital Media Awards over the last 4 years. Using futuristic predictive software (namely Excel) the "Number Atomiser" has crunched and then extrapolated the data, overlaying forecasts on this year's finalists to predict the 2014 Digital Media Awards winners.
Unlike last year, we’re predicting a more even spread of award winners in 2014. This year there are even more newcomers to the awards than in 2013, with 55% of all the nominees up for an award for the first time. The agencies included, on average, win one overall award for every 6 times they’re nominated. They generally win something (be it overall winner, silver, bronze or the now defunct gold) every second time they’re nominated. The above is a list of agencies we predict will be the top 10 most successful on Friday night, based on past performance. If you’re not on our list, it’s not necessarily because we don’t think you’ll win, but simply because there wasn’t enough past performance data available to us to confidently predict how many awards you’ll be taking home.
